Ginger is a plant that originated in the south of the Asian continent and cultivated more than 3,000 years.

The root of the ginger contains only 80 calories per 100 grams of product, most of which consists of 18 grams carbohydrates, 2 grams protein, 1 gram fat.

In its nutrient composition ginger contains vitamin C, potassium, calcium and magnesium. On the market is available as fresh, dried ginger, powdered or in the form of oil.
